On May 10th the Tea Act which imposed taxes on all tea goods from England was on the colonies in the Americas.
This was caused due to the war debt that England was deep into because of the Seven Year War.
Though the colonist weren't okay with the taxes that were imposed. So they decided to take action.
They went to a major Port in Boston which was transported for tea. They dressed up as Indians and poured 372 barrels of tea into the river.
