When the Jews got to the other side, the water crashed down on the Egyptians.

They relied on religious leaders like the temple priests and scribes. Both had responsibilities, the temple priests are in charge of the sacrifices and the scribes also known as rabbis teach the Law of Moses.
  • After defeating the Persians, the Greeks took over Israel and Judah and renamed it as Palestine. They let the Jews stay and taught them the Greek language and ways. Both of the army generals of Alexander, the Greek King who died, did not agree with each other. Therefore, the land was divided into the northern country, Syria, and the southern country, Egypt.
