There was a controversial bargain called the corrupt bargain.
He was John Adams son. He was a Republican and a runner in the election of 1824.
Jackson was a war hero. He was a Republican and a runner in the election of 1824.
Outcome of the Election
He spent most of his life in politics. He was the Speaker of House. He also ran in the race in 1824 and was a Republican.
This was when John Quincy Adams and Henry Clay negotiated a cheat. Clay would become the Senator and Quincy would become the president.
John Quincy Adams became president while Henry Clay became a senator.
