Storyboard Text

  • The thousand injuries of Fortunato I had borne as best as I could, but when he ventured upon insult I vowed revenge.
  • Montresor runs into Fortunato during Carnival.
  • My dear Fortunato, you are luckily met. How remarkably well you are looking today. But I have received a pipe of what passes for Amontillado, and I have have my doubts.
  • I don't know if it is truly Amontillado, so I shall have Luchresi tase it.
  • Fortunato wants the Amontillado.
  • Oh! But you must be busy. And the vaults are crusted with nitre.
  • No! Luchresi can't tell Amontillado from Sherry. Let me taste it. Let us go to your vaults.
  • That is fine, and I have no engagements; come.
  • No. A cough won't kill me. Let us go to the Amontillado.
  • Thank you. Ugh! UGh! Ugh!
  • Welcome. Have some flambeaux.
  • They arrive at Montersor's home.
  • That cough must be from the nitre. You should go back.
  • If you say so. Drink. Then I shall drink to your health.
  • I used dull colors to make it more dark/suspenseful. I also added decorations because it was Carnival. I gave Fortunato lighter colors to show that he is the victim.
  • They continue towards the Amontillado, getting deeper.
  • Yes, yes.
  • you're not a mason.
  • You? A mason? Impossible!
  • I kept the dull colors to keep the mood, and changed the background because they are walking to the vaults. I also changed their positions to make them walking.
  • When they reach the deepest part of the catacombs, Montresor chains Fortunato to the wall.
  • The Amontillado!!!
  • The colors are still dark to retain the mood. I made Montresor wink to make him look more suspicious.
  • Montresor traps Fortunato and kills him. He is guilty.
  • Ha ha ha! He he he!
  • I put the trowel on the text bubble because he would look like he had it out the whole time if I didn't. I also made their clothes darker because they're dee;er in the catacombs.
  • you jest
  • I am, this trowel is a sign.
  • I used a background with bones because they were in the story. I chained Fortunato in the middle to bring the attention to him.
  • true
  • I used different stones to make it look more realistic. I have Montresor turned away from the audience so that you can't tell what kind of face he is making.
  • Fortunato?
