Yes, and thank you Matilda. As we can see here is The Great Pacific Garbage Patch. It is located between Hawaii and California. The GPGP covers an estimated surface area of 1.6 million square kilometers. It is estimated to be 80,000 tons.

Deforestation has been causing destruction for many forests, mostly tropical rain forest. An estimated 18.7 million acres of forest are lost each year. Currently about half of the worlds tropical forest have cleared. Over to Micheal to report more.
Smog is a type of a severe air pollution. It can be dangerous to breathe in too much smog. Smog contains a dangerous pollutant called ozone. Ozone have many negative effects on your lungs.
Ozone layer is a layer in the earths atmosphere. With an altitude of around 6.2 miles, and a high concentration of Ozone. It absorbs the ultraviolet radiation from the sun that reaches earth. We´ll see you next time on Enviornment Today for news.
