War Affected Children Pt 1: Kaitlyn, William, & Trevor

- (Inside a house, table, shelves with bowls/plates, windows & a door)
- (Outside of the house, now blown up, & wheelbarrow off to the side)
- (Empty barren field, rubble {bits of houses, people, animals and maybe trees?}, soldiers & guns, airplanes…)
- So there is a family eating dinner in a house. There is three kids and two parents, their names are Kaitlyn, Trevor and William ( parents have unknown names.) Parent,”Get down!!” . the walls start to shake. Kaitlyn says,”What's going to happen to us!” Dishes and bowls break and windows shatter everywhere. The family hears planes fly overhead. “What’s happening?!” says Trevor.
- (Cave{clay}, rocks, mountainside, soldier, guns, ammunition{barrels}, explosives)
- Parents are killed, and William is injured. Children escape through the rubble. They find a wheelbarrow to transport William.
- (Outside the cave, soldiers,)
- Soldiers. Soldiers have come into the city, are shooting civilians, taking over the city, looting food, taking citizens prisoner.
- (Inside the cave. Same props as last cave{keep the same props where they’re supposed to be} soldiers)
- The children who escaped from the rubble of the exploded house have gotten away from the village and they have come across an abandoned cave. When they enter they find a dead soldier and lots of ammunition and gunpowder, weapons, explosives because it turns out to be a secret military cache. Kaitlyn whispers,”Um, you guys…?” -------------------------------------------(More)---------------------------
- Soldiers are approaching the cave, not knowing there are kids inside.
- Hear footsteps and noises. Kaitlyn says,”Get back!!!”.Soldiers enter the cave, grab their supplies and go.
