  • Today class, we will be learning about a natural disaster called a Tornado and the events that occur.
  • So class lets start at the beginning and see what causes the tornadoes to form. The tornadoes are formed by warm and col air meeting at an increasing speed while the wind changes directions.
  • Now that we know what causes a tornado what can we do to mitigate for it at our school?  That's right we go into our middle hallway of the school. Other ways we mitigate for tornadoes is basements and storm shelters.
  • The damage that can be caused is cars torn up, trees, and even our houses.
  • The last event of a tornado is to clean up and recover things like fixing your cars and homes.
  • A tornado can happen anywhere. But most tornadoes are expected in the great plains and tornado valley. So always be prepared because they can happen anywhere. That's all for today class see you tomorrow.
