  • Attention!
  • The Kapo picked several hundred women for his platoon. Kapo means supreme authority over life and death.
  • The Kapo brutally whipped the inmates. They were whipped if they rested, stopped working, resisted, made a mistake, or if the Kapo felt like whipping them. If they made a noise or spilled a tear the whipping would double.
  • The soup was much better than what they served at Auschwitz but it had spoiled from sitting in the sun all day. The soup had worms in it and Elli refused to eat it.
  • The Kapo are killing civilians in the town square.
  • They are still being forced to flatten out the land for a new building that the Kapo are putting up.
  • When did he die
  • Wait Hitler is dead?!
  • Does this mean we will be free
  • How do you know he's dead?!
