Once upon a time there was a girl named Ella. Her dad was a widower who remarried. His new wife was an evil women with two very evil daughters. Shortly after they were married her dad died leaving her in the care of her evil step-mother.
Ella quickly became a servant to her step-mother and step-sisters. They made her do all of the chores and they called her Cinderella after the cinders she swept out of the fireplace. One day they heard that there was going to be a ball. The king needed to find a wife for his son, so he decided he was going to have a ball.
Cinderella wanted nothing more than to go to the ball, but her evil step-mother wouldn't let her go! After her evil step-mother and step-sisters left Cinderella's fairy godmother appeared and turned her rags to a beautiful dress and her shoes to glass slippers. The fairy godmother told her that after midnight everything would go back to normal.
Cinderella went to the ball with that in mind and had a wonderful time! She quickly fell in love with the prince and never wanted it to end.
Cinderella was having so much fun she lost track of time and before she knew it the clock struck midnight. She quickly ran from the ball and lost her slipper on the stairs. The next day the prince went off to find his lost princess. Whoever the slipper fit would be who he would marry. He searched the whole kingdom and when he got to Cinderella's house the evil-step sisters couldn't fit, but Cinderella could.
Cinderella and the prince were married and lived happily ever after!
