The meeting of the Estate General is important because France was going through famine and was on the verge of bankruptcy. The first and second states did not want to pay taxes. Whenever they voted, the third estate was being out voted and was being treated unfairly and decided to become The National Assembly. This was the start of the idea of becoming a republic and wanted to fight.

The Reign of Terror was the year where they put thousands of people to death because of any reasons. The leader, Maximilian Robespierre, wanted to prevent any conflicts in society or resistance in the revolution. To execute the people, they used a guillotine.
Napolean Bonaparte was a popular military hero that won many battles. He wanted to make a name for himself when he heard about the French Revolution and went to war. When he had enough power, he claimed himself emperor and reform France.
