Permanent shelters

Permanent shelters

Storyboard Text

  • In Paleolithic times, they moved a lot which meant they didn't have permanent shelters. They moved a lot because they either ran out of food or they might have not been able to find a place to stay and keep warm.
  • I guess that means we have to find somewhere else to find more food.
  • We ran out of food again!
  • We should leave now.
  • In Neolithic times, they did not have to move as much as the people in the Paleolithic times. This is because they had a stable food supply and they also had permanent shelters.
  • We ran out of food!
  • It is okay we can just make more.
  • This was an important change because they could become a community and work together so they can make more items in less amount of time. This was also an important change because they could trade the items they made for other items they needed.
  • Would like to trade this these two axes, three pots, and some wheat for that cow.
  • Yes!
