The Montagues and Capulets are two rivaling families who have a hatred for one another. The setting of Romeo and Juliet takes place in Verona, Italy. The main characters in the story are Romeo, Juliet, and everyone involved with the Capulet and Montague families.
After being denied by a girl who Romeo swears is the love of his life, he agrees to go to the Capulet's party. Next he spotted Juliet at the party and moved on from the other girl. Finally, Romeo and Juliet decided to get married secretly

Romeo poisoned himself because he believed that Juliet passed away. He would rather die next to her then live a life without her. Romeo and the man she almost married, Paris, fought to the death over her. Romeo ended up killing Paris, but shortly after he died from the poison.
The priest alerts Juliet a little to late about how the letter explaining why she was asleep didn't get to Romeo. She proceeds to cry. After crying for a little while she ends her life.
After realizing their family rivalry killed Romeo and Juliet the Montagues and Capulets decide to end the fighting between them. Although the ending of the love story between Romeo and Juliet died tragically, the two horrible deaths united the families into one large one.
