  • The Mings saw the rise of commercial pantations that produces crops suitable for their regions. 
  •  The military was an inherited job and came with professional warrior classes. The soldiers had one of the lowest social standings.
  • Emperor Ming Chengzu help with the growth of the dynasty economical, educational, and military reforms. Also, Chengzu established many diplomatic relationships.
  • The Ming Dynasty allowed cultural diffusion. Emperor Zhu Yuanzhang mainly supported Buddhism. The people practiced sacrifices and religious dances/ ceremonies.
  • 1405-1433 Chengzu launched ships to expand Chinese tribute system to India, Persian Gulf, and East coast of Africa. Exported silk and porcelain.
  • The Ming Dynasty used a system called the Mandate of Heaven.
  • It was a message from god that allowed the people to riot in order to overthrow the emperor if he wasn't doing a good job. It allowed a new emperor to rule.
