Debbie and Maureen have grown up together in their small town. They seem to be inseparable. But things change when Maureen makes friends with the new girl, Glenna. Making and leaving out Debbie from the whole picture.
Debbie and Maureen have been best friends forever and feel that their friendship is invincible. All this continues, until Maureen befriends the new girl, Glenna.
Debbie sits on a bench watching Maureen and Glenna having fun. She feels like she's the third wheel of the group, or doesn't even exist.
Debbie gets excited when she hears that Glennas family is going on vacation. But, immediately, she looses hope when she hears that Maureen is going to.
Maureen realizes that something is wrong with Debbie after she puts on an act for going. Maureen left Glenna just too see what was wrong with her old friend.
Maureen and Debbie talk about what it is that's been bothering her lately. Maureen says that Glenna is a good friend, while Debbie just listens.
Debbie feels that even though Maureen and her are still friends, she still is sure that Glenna will always end up stealing her spotlight with Maureen. Now, she feels that she is going to have to accept this fate.
