The Plymouth Society was quite different than Jamestown. The Plymouth settlers/people had a good relationship with them,
The Pilgrims came to the Americas out of fear of religious persecution. They wanted to freely be able to believe the faith that they wanted to.
Plymouth was founded in/on a great location. With the water so close, how could fishing and a cold climate not be expected.
The original Pilgrims were from the Church of England, and founded the Puritan/Congregational church.
How would you compare and contrast Jamestown and Plymouth? First of all, the Pilgrims were hard workers from the get go, unlike the lazy Jamestown colonists. Another difference in the two is that they each held Thanksgiving at a different time. Jamestown had theirs on December 1, 1619, and the Pilgrims had their Thanksgiving in the fall of 1621.
