Paris wants to marry Juliet right away so that she will stop crying up Tybalt's death. Friar comes up with a plan to help Juliet. She will agree to marry Paris and the night before the wedding, take a sleeping potion that will kill her for 48 hours. She will then be placed in the Capulet vault, there she will meet Romeo and live there own life together.
Juliet tells her parents that she will marry Paris, they are so exicted they move the wedding up another day.
Juliet asks to spend the night before her wedding alone. She has the vial in her hand and wonders the things that could go wrong. She could actually die is the Friar wants to cover his tracks, or she could wake up early.
Early the next morning everyone is exicted for the day of the wedding. But when they find Juliet dead they are very sad. Friar reminds everyone that she Is in a better place now, and that they must prepare for the funeral.
The musicians that are left behind do not know what to do. Peter, a servant, suggests they play happy music to lift peoples mood. The musicians refuse saying it would be inappropriate.
