  • Theme: Violence doses not solve problem
  • Evidence 1: The first evidence is when Charlie shot Mr.Van Horn.
  • Evidence 2: The second evidence is when they were throwing rocks at charlie.
  • Evidence 3:  When someone punched Steve.
  • The Theme of The Monsters of Maple  Street"is  Violence does not solve problem This shows that violence does not solve problems because when charlie shot Mr.van horn he wasn't 100 percent sure that it was him and instead of shooting him he could have yelled out his name and Mr.van horn would have said it was him. The second evidence that shows that violence does not solve problems is when they were throwing rocks at charlie after he shot Mr.van horn. They didn't have to throw rocks at him because they could have just told him why he shot him. The last evidence that shows why violence does not solve problems when someone punched Steve. They did not have to punch Steve because he was not the monster.  They were turning crazy and fighting with each other. This is why I think violence does not solve problems. By Erick Guillen
