- Alem arrives in England with his father.
- Why does this man keep asking me so many questios?
- Welcome to England Mr. Kelo. Did you pack your suitcases , sir?

- Alem and his father arrive at 'The Palace Hotel'.
- Alem would you like some Italian food?
- Where are the animals or the soldiers with guns? Mmm Italian food sounds nice.
- Alem's father leaves Alem in the hotel alone.

- 'My father left me here so I would not die'
- Alem goes with Mariam and Pamela to the Refugee Council offices to complete his application for asylum.
