One of the problems with the Ohio Constitution was that the legislative branch held to much power. They were able to elect others into office soley based off of their decision. This problem was solved by allowing the people to vote for their judges and governor directly,thus lessening the legislative branches power and bringing more power to the people.
I am calling for a law to be put in place which allows american citizens access to free cheeseburgers.
Another problem of the Ohio Constitution is that the Ohio Supreme court was required to serve in all counties. This problem was solved by the creation and institution of intermediate courts.
Congress wants to pass a law that instates being eaten alive by a tiger as a death penalty,VETOED! That violates their 8th amendment rights.
Another problem was the Debt (BOOM) the legislative branch had put Ohio into debt by funding corporations with money Ohio did not have to spare. This problem was solved by the institution of limits to debt, and requiring assigned use of all tax dollars.
We must make sure Lake Erie is healthy, it is vital to our states economy and could potentially cause harm to our citizens.
The role of the legislative branch is to create new laws. The legislative branch consists of the House of Represenatives and the Senate, which together makeup congress.The Vice presdient is also the head of the Senate.
The role of the Executive branch is to Execute the laws. The executive branch consists of the president,vice president,federal beureaus such as the F.B.I and C.I.A. The presidential cabinet is also a part of the branch.
Ohio EPA is calling for funds to be set aside to treat Lake Erie and addres harmful algae blooms. (HABs) This funding is important to ensure Lake Erie is clean and safe. Lake Erie is a vital part of the Ohio economy and if it was to become unsafe it could cost many Ohioans their jobs and put lives at risk. 10 million dollars has been granted towards the removal of waste from Lake Erie early thie year.
