  • In 1789, the French launched a revolution for liberty and equality. At first the French revolution won strong support from the U.S. However, by 1793 the revolution had turned violent.
  • Hamilton-Federalist French Revolution (against) 
  • The Democratic-Republicans considered as the aliens. The federalists were past the act and it targeted the Democratic-Republicans who were not yet citizens.
  • Hamilton The Alien and Sedition Acts (for it)
  • Jefferson wanted farmers and farmers would worry about themselves, they would take care of themselves.

  • Hamilton pointed out that Britain was United States most important trading partner and British trade was too important to risk war. 
  • The federalists labeled the Democratic-Republicans and passed the Alien and Sedition Acts. Which targeted the"Aliens". 
  • Hamilton wanted to make money and build factories. He wanted people to have a life.
