  • How do I lead a lifetime of wellness? Leading a life of wellness takes many steps. There are lots of things you must do. One is balancing your exercise. You must make sure you have a balance between your cardio, resistance, flexibility, and rest. This will help with physical wellness but you must also work on social and mental/emotional wellness. Another aspect is understanding your body type. You must understand this is largely hereditary and everyone is different. The three main body types are ectomorph which is a slender slightly built body type. Next is endomorph and that is a large, soft, bulging body and pear-shaped body type. Last is mesomorph which is a solid, muscular, and large-bonded body type. These are just basic examples and everyone is not just these three. Your body type is unique and you can use it to work to find a healthy weight that you can maintain. Body composition also can lead to help you understanding yourself and body. There are many parts to your body composition. Caloric balance (the balance between calorie intake and calories burned), eating habits and activity levels, and metabolism (how fast your body converts calories to energy) all are parts of your body composition. Also you should always strive to eat a healthy diet. The last part that can help you with a lifetime of wellness is injury prevention and injury treatment. There are many common injuries from exercise like muscle strains, muscle sprains, blisters, and shin splints. These can be prevented and treated through many different things. To prevent most any injuries are very simple. Easy ways to do that is to make sure you always warm up, stretch before and after, and start slow. You will need to research your injury and see ways to treat it. These are just a few things that can help you live a lifetime full of wellness.
