Capulet talks with Paris, the man who wants to marry Juliet, and invites him a party. However, Romeo and Benvolio find out about this party when the man who couldn't read asked them to read an invitation.
Act 1, Scene 5
JULIET: "The only man I love is the son of the only man I hate! I saw him too early without knowing who he was, and I found out who he was too late!" (Shakespeare 1.5.139).
Lady Capulet talks to Juliet about marrying Paris. However, Juliet doesn't seem very interested in the marriage at all.
