  • today, im in china! as you can see behind me is the Tibet- Qinghai Plateau! did you know that people call  the roof of the world because it is 13,500 ft! that is more than 2 miles above sea level! there is a river called the yangtze river.

  • This is the Taklimakan desert. this desert covers about 105,000 square miles and is considered one of the most dangerous ever.  some people beleve that when you go in you wont come out.

  • The gobi desert stretches over 500,000 square miles! This is one of the largest deserts ever also this has very little sand dunes.

  • This is called the Northeastern plain. this has prairie grass,  low hills and natural vegetation.  there summers here are short but warm.

  • This is the north china plain, most of the ground is covered in yellow limestone silt. this silt comes from the gobi desert but the winds carries it over.  the soil is very fertle.

  • this is called the chang jiang basins. this has a mild but wet climate.. this also has a huge river that stretches really far out.
