Only the sun shines here on Earth. No moon awakes, no man has ever even heard of the moon, that is until today. A young skillful huntress, Ashlyn, gets in an argument with another hunter Amber, about who is better.
You think you're so good at hunting, try to hit the sun. I bet you can't!
I am the best huntress in our universe! Of course, I can!
As Ashlyn's arrow flys through the sky both girls are curious to see where it goes. The arrow drops down back to the ground right in front of Ashlyn and Amber makes fun of Ashlyn, when suddenly they hear a loud strong voice.
Ha ha ha
I'm still the best of the best! No god or goddess could beat me!
The god of the sun, Apollo, is infuriated in anger because of Ashlyn's disrespect for the sun. In the meantime, Amber runs away so she does not get caught in the crossfire.
I am Apollo, the god of the sun, in which you just tried to harm! Have you no decency!
I don't care about the stupid sun or you! Why should I listen to you, I'm the great Ashlyn!
Apollo, the god of the sun, threatens Ashlyn that he is going to turn her into the moon. Ashlyn is confused on what night and moon are because if you remember from panel 1, Earth has never experienced night.
If you will have no respect for the sun I shall turn you into the opposite, the moon! Earth will finally see night.
What is a moon, and what is night?
Apollo has deep thoughts about Ashlyn and Ashlyn observes the world in her new form, humans stare back at her seeing the many craters in which were her many mistakes.
Hopefully, she will learn her foolish behavior, one day.
The people all over Earth star at the sky, watching the moon shine. Stare at your moon today, and you will be looking at Ashlyn, who was once a teenage girl. That is how our moon is here today.
