The coarse sand massaged the bottoms of my feet as I slowly strolled along the beach. The crashing waves sprayed a mist over me. White foaming water chilled my feet.
As I continued my stroll, the bright sun beat upon me and warmed my whole being. I gazed on the narrowing sand that was taken over by the steep rocky brown cliffs. My toes squished through the wet sand along the bright blue water's edge.
About a mile down the beach, I approached a lone palm tree and decided that it would be here that I would stop for a swim. I threw down my towel next to the scratchy bottom of the palm and smelled the fishy odor of the beach. I quickly slid into the water and was exhilarated by the coolness that slipped over me. I dove into a wave and the strong saltiness of the ocean water entered my mouth.
