- This summer, my best friend Jenny and I decided we wanted to be cabin leaders at our favourite camp, Torch Trail Bible Camp. To be a cabin leader, you need to spend a week in L.I.T. (leaders in training), and if you show strong leadership during that week, you are asked back to work another week. Jenny and I were both asked back to work together.
- Hey, is this seat taken?
- No it is not...
- I just feel very stressed out lately.
- During our work week together, Jenny ended up getting sick and we told our boss Maryn. Maryn did not want Jenny to leave, but camp policies forced her to send Jenny home. Both Jenny and I were very sad.
- That's too bad, I'll always be here for you...
- When Jenny left it was only Maryn and I that had to do dishes, bathrooms and cleaning the dining hall floors. It took us about 2-2.5 hours to do each job but with jenny it was an hour less.
- Jayna!!
- I was thinking I was going to have to spend every day alone, but then Anson and I decided to hang out and become closer than any year we had been there before.
- Although Anson had other duties, he put effort into developing our relationship, and that made the week so much better.
- When my mom and Jenny picked up I was so happy.
