Storyboard Text

  • This is evaporation. The water in the stream is being heated up by the sun, causing it to turn into vapor that goes up into the air
  • The vapor from the stream then changes back into water droplets that condense to form clouds.
  • Water can also vaporize to the clouds in a process called transpiration. This water, however, comes from plants.
  • When the condensed water becomes too heavy for the cloud to handle, precipitation (rain) occurs.
  • The rain-water runs off of hills and mountains, back into lakes, rivers, and streams. Then, the cycle starts again!
  • The Water Cycle By: Deja'Nae Jones 8th period
