  • Taxing the colonies
  • we should tax the colonies on paper/goods
  • The French and Indian War cost a lot of money to keep the 13 colonies alive. And although the British slowly won,  King George ran short of money.   
  • Patrick Henry and Samuel Adams
  • maybe I start the sons of liberty
  • George Grenville (Britain's Prime Minister) figures that they should tax the colonies.
  • Making the Townshend act
  • the colonies are retaliating. 
  • should we tax them    for British  goods like paper, wool,  cloth?

  • Creating the liberty tea (sisters of liberty)
  •  Patrick Henry was the first to speak against the Stamp Act. Then Samuel Adams    started talking about making  The Sons Of Liberty who would   retaliate    against British rule.

  • After The Sons Of Liberty   protested,  Britain removed The Stamp Act, but made  the rule harder on the colonies with the Townshend Act which taxed paper, wool, cloth, and tea.
