  • The pattern never changed, from the time of Columbus it continued. We would trade, something would happen, like slavery, and the Native Americans would strike back. Both sides had people who were good or bad, fierce or gentle, but when the time came for war, both went too far. For example, the massacre of 1622. This is what the story is all about.
