  • In the Paleolithic Times...
  • I only need what I can get. We rarely contact other groups or trade with them. We have limited supplies based on where we are.
  • We don't have time for fun activities or making decorative objects. Hunting and gathering are how we live. We move often, because our food supply runs out after a while.
  • In the Neolithic Times...
  • With the development of agriculture, I don't have to spend so much time trying to find food! I learned how to domesticate animals and harvest plants. I no longer need to only be focused on survival.
  • I can make my surroundings more beautiful by hematite, obsidian, and flint! Trading has allowed me to obtain all of these precious resources.
  • Because of the extremely important invention of agriculture, our lives are so much easier. I don't have to search far and hunt for hours to get animal meat. I can stay in a location permanently because I will never run out of food.
  • Trading can now help our village gain objects and different resources that we can't get ourselves. It has also provided a connection between ourselves and others. It helped spread ideas and knowledge throughout the world.
  • Yay for Neolithic Times!
