I only need what I can get. We rarely contact other groups or trade with them. We have limited supplies based on where we are.
We don't have time for fun activities or making decorative objects. Hunting and gathering are how we live. We move often, because our food supply runs out after a while.
In the Neolithic Times...
With the development of agriculture, I don't have to spend so much time trying to find food! I learned how to domesticate animals and harvest plants. I no longer need to only be focused on survival.
I can make my surroundings more beautiful by hematite, obsidian, and flint! Trading has allowed me to obtain all of these precious resources.
Because of the extremely important invention of agriculture, our lives are so much easier. I don't have to search far and hunt for hours to get animal meat. I can stay in a location permanently because I will never run out of food.
Trading can now help our village gain objects and different resources that we can't get ourselves. It has also provided a connection between ourselves and others. It helped spread ideas and knowledge throughout the world.
