  • Due to the great debt from the French and Indian War colonists will be taxed for all paper products.
  • "NO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION."
  • After the French and Indian war King George had used so much money that he was in debt.
  • King George decided to tax colonists for all paper products so he could get over this debt.
  • Colonists were furious. They committed a act known as the Boston Tea Party where they dressed up as Indians and dumped 342 chests of tea imported by Britain.
