  • famous hunter Rainsford is shipwrecked on an island known as Ship-Trap Island with no visible means to get off the island.

  • Rainsford finds General Zaroff who seems nice but Rainsford finds he obsessed with the hunt so he hunts people on his island,but Zaroff made him a deal that if he can elude him for 3 days he will get him off the island, but no one has ever won his game before.
  • Falling Action
  • on Day one he runs until he realizes this is pointless so he hides but Zaroff finds his location faster than he expected, but eventually Zaroff chuckles and returns to his fortress, with no sign that he knew where he was.
  • Resolution
  • I am still a Beast at bay, so be ready General Zaroff
  • on day two Rainsford sets a pit-and-spike trap, but this only backfired on him by getting one of Zaroff's best dogs instead of Zaroff himself. and yet again he goes back to his fortress but it was because he was injured this time.
  • On day three Rainsford sets another trap with a flexible sapling and a knife Zaroff gave him, but again the trap hit the wrong person, it hit Zaroff's Right-hand man Ivan, who came with Zaroff who was getting desperate to find him but this time Rainsford managed to elude him until General Zaroff had o return to his fortress.
  • This night Rainsford overcomes his fear of the ocean that came from the shipwreck and swam toward Zaroff's fortress with a new determination, when he climbed through Zaroff's bedroom window and he tells him "the three days are almost up but I am still a Beast at bay, so be ready General Zaroff!"
