  • Today, I am joining the Shakers!!!
  • Now, Lee was 22 years old.
  • Time For Jail Part 1
  • In 1770 she got put in jail because of her Religious Believes 
  • Sorry Ms., but you have to go to jail.
  • But sir, I can believe what I want to believe!!!
  • Time For Jail Part 2
  •  Ann Lee was born on Feburary 29, 1736 in Manchester, United Kingdom
  • You beliefes are right.
  • It's all over
  • Soon she would be known as Mother Ann.  Also, she would soon be the leader of the Shakers.
  • Fun Facts
  • The Shakers were also sometimes called the United Society of Believers in Christ's Second Appering.
  • By 1876 there were 18 different Shaker villages over 8 states.
  • Slowly the Shakers dissapered as a religious group.
  • One night, an angel of God came to Lee in a vision.
  • Sadly on September 8, 1784, Lee died at the age of 48 in Watervliet, N.Y., U.S.A.
  • Lee also worked at a cloth mill.
