Tom sends off his wife to a movie, while he decides to stay home and work on a project for his job. He leaves a window open because it is hot is his apartment.
As his wife walks out the door, a yellow paper, very important to his project is sucked out the window by a gust of air. The paper sits on a ledge. Tom has to figure out how to get it back.
Tom hops out the window onto the same ledge that his paper sits on in hopes of getting it back savely. He thinks it's rather easy so he goes out further to get it back
Tom reaches the corner of the ledges where his paper is. When he grabs his paper, he can't help to be scared by the sight of the groud below him. He nearly loses balance and is motionless.
Eventually, Tom can take back control of his mind enough to make it back to the window where he then almost falls, pulling the window down preventing him from getting in. He decides to break the window and enter before he falls off.
Tom gets back inside, puts the paper down on the table but with a pecil on top of it. As he runs out the door to meet up with his wife, the gust of air pulls his paper off the table again, sending it out the window. Tom just laughs it off this time, leaving the situation for later.
