  • "I was walking home and the sneakers fell from the sky" Stanley Told the judge
  • Rising Action-(You write your own destiny)
  • Stanley pulled it out. It was a gold tube, about as long and as wide as the second finger on his right hand.
  • Rising Action-(You write your own destiny)
  • "Don't shoot him" said the Warden "He can't go anywhere. The last thing we need is an investigation. 
  • If Stanley didn't put on the shoes he wouldn't be in the court room. Page 23
  • Climax-(You write your own destiny)
  • "Put it in gear" Shouted Twitch
  • Stanley chose to give X-Ray the bullet. If he didn't do that the he could have got the day off. Page 60

  • Zero ran away because of his choice not because destiny made him. Page 139

  • Stanley put the car in gear on his own terms. There was only one thing that made him do it, his own head. Not destiny.
  • Stanley and Zero chose to go back to camp, nothing plus destiny was pushing them to do so.
  • Stanley would not leave without Zero.  This shows the most that Stanley was writing his own destiny by him bringing in Zero.
  • "I can't leave Hector" said Stanley
