  • Max was born in Radom, Poland July 1939.
  • Radom Hospital
  • Two months after he was born, Germany invaded Poland. The Germans evicted all the Jews from the street he lived on, Zeromskiego Street. His family had to leave everything behind.
  • Radom’s Jewish Council assigned the Rosenblats to a shack, which was enclosed in a Jewish ghetto in April 1941.
  • In August 1942, the Germans deported all the Jews who could not work for them from his ghetto to Treblinka extermination camp.
  • Max’s father tried to hide his family in his shop, but they were caught in a roundup and Max and his mother were taken away.
  • Max and his mother were gassed when they arrived. He was 3 years old.
