Storyboard Text

  • I would like my shares of the farm now
  • If you insist my son, here you go
  • Goodbye father I will spend my money wisely
  • Goodbye son
  • What will I do without him?
  • I have no more money
  • The son then ran out of money and had to get a job feeding pigs slops as there was a famine and he couldn't afford any food.
  • I will go back to my father and offer to be a servant for him
  • The father saw his son coming back and was very happy to see him so he ordered for his finest robes and sandals to be put on him along with a ring and ordered for a feast to be prepared and to kill the fatted calf.
  • My father I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son
  • "Bring the best robes, put a ring on his finger and sandals on his feet."
  • The message of the story is to not take what you have for granted
  • The older son was not happy about his father killing the fatted calf for his younger brother as he thought it was a waste so he refused to go inside.
  • "My son what is mine is yours. My son was dead but now he is alive and lost but now he is found."
