It was a war to decide which nation would control the colonies.
The Treaty of Paris ended the war in 1763. The treaty gave Britan the colonies.
France had to give up the North American mainlands.
Britan imposed the Proclamation of 1763 on the colonists which prohibited the colonists and Indians from killing each other.
The war cost Britan a lot of money so they taxed people out. The colonists became angry.
