  • We need to fight back and give those Japanese people what they deserve
  • This was significant because it was one of the main reasons that the U.S. joined into WW2. The next day the FDR asked Congress if they would allow the U.S. to join into in WW2.
  • You are being taken, you have no choice but to come with me.
  • American citizens were infuriated by what Japan did to Pearl Harbor. Almost everyone supported the idea of going to war with Japan.

  • Where are we going?
  • Congress accepted Executive Order 9066 and the government could now isolate Japanese people into camps.
  • I don't know son we didn't do anything wrong.
  • Why are we here?
  • Japenese people were taken by U.S. soldiers and they didn't get a choice/option to stay.
  • Japenese people where taken from their homes and transported to camps but they had no idea where they were going while being transported.
  • American Soldiers took Japenese people that were in America to camps because of what Japan did to Pearl Harbor. Even if they didn't do anything wrong they were forced to be kept there for the remainder of the war.
