- Thomas was hiding in home stead along with the other because the grievers were entering the glade because the doors to the Maze didn't shut that night. they could hear the grievers slowly making there way into the Maze. once they did they went over to the homestead and they started climbing it. they were shredding the homestead up as they climbed it. then Gally came in and started screaming and yelling, he said they would only take one of the gladers at a time and then they would leave. Newt then went up to Gally and Gally took a wooden board, and hit it against news head and then newt fell to the ground Gally was yelling stuff like its all your fault Thomas, one a night until we're all dead. then Gally took off and jumped on the griever.

- Thomas runs to Teresa who is in the slammer, because the Gladers don't trust her. When Thomas runs up to the slammer she was sleeping and everything, they start talking about everything and they figure out that the Maze it telling them something. they talk about putting the maps together and everything to see if they reveal something.
