Neolithic Stone Age

Neolithic Stone Age

Storyboard Text

  • Food Supply
  • Farming is so much easier than hunting.
  • I am so glad that terry is going to be coming to help us with farming.
  • Communities
  • I am also glad because we can grow crops and make tools working together. This will allow us to work faster.
  • Jobs
  • This is so easy now that I have this tool to help me.
  • Hi neighbor this is a gift for you for helping me farm the other day.
  • The food supply in the neolithic age was much easier than in the paleolithic age. Instead of hunting they grew crops. They stayed in one space instead of roaming around.
  • Permanent Shelters
  • You sure these bricks made of mud will hold the house. I am nervous the whole thing might collapse.
  • I am sure they are also supported by sticks and stones. You and your kids will be fine.
  • The communities were bigger than they were in the paleolithic age. They used to just wonder in the paleolithic age from place to place. But in the neolithic age they made permanent homes so they could grow crops. So in the Neolithic age the communities are decentally big.
  • Trade
  • Yes we are ready. I can not wait to get the things we need in exchange for things that these people need
  • The jobs in the neolithic age were more stable and helpful to others than in the paleolithic age. These new jobs besides farming included basket weavers, traders, and tool makers. These jobs not only helped themselves but they helped others.
  • The shelter in the neolithic age was questionable but it worked. The houses were made out of mud bricks and they were held up and supported by sticks and stones.
  • Trade was a new thing in the neolithic age. In the paleolithic age there was no trade. In the neolithic age trade was new and they walked, road animals, and sailed on ships to deliver needs that other people needed in exchange for things that they needed.
  • Captain are we ready to sail.
