I don't know. But, everything stopped working. You need to go get help!
Hahaha! That son of yours reads too many comics
No! Don't go! The aliens don't won't you to. Someone isn't who they say they are.
The kid was right! There is a monster and it's Goodman!!!
No! I swear I did n-no-nothing! I don't know how it happened! I swear I'm normal!
You guys need to stop! We don't need to turn into a mob!
There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man … a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man’s fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. Here in this dimension contains Maple Street. And all was nice when CRASH! A light crashes by causing all of the electricity to go out .
You were blaming everyone because you're trying to hide that you are the monster.
No I didn't know it was him! We were all scared I was just trying to protect us! I, Charlie am innocent!!!
Being told this Van Horn leaves to go to the neighborhood next to theirs. With Steve and Charlie are about to leave and go ask for help but, Tommy stops them. Tommy says that there are alien and they are causing this. And the aliens is one of their own. The people only laugh it off but, what if he's right?
Les Goodman goes to his car and tries to turn it on but, nothings working and as he steps out his car, it lets out a roar and turns on without anybody in it. Everyone starts accusing Goodman of being the alien because only his car works. Being the only one that was thinking straight Steve tells them to knock it off.
It's simple. We fidget with their tech and they will get all flustered.
A shadow starts walking towards the people of Maple Street and out of fear Charlie shots the figure. When everyone goes over to investigate they find out instead of it being an alien it was Van Horn coming back to the neighborhood. Charlie killed an innocent man, was he trying to hide something?
With everyone trying to find a scapegoat the street goes into chaos. The people attack each other and their homes. The lights and electronics of the citizens' go on and off triggering them even more.
Although there really was aliens the real monster was themselves. There are weapons that are simply thoughts, attitudes, prejudices to be found only in the minds of men. For the record, prejudices can kill and suspicion can destroy and a thoughtless frightened search for a scapegoat has a fallout all of its own for the children and the children yet unborn. And the pity of it is that these things cannot be confined to the Twilight Zone.
Then they will get rid of themselves while we just watch from the background. Now lets go to the next town.
