If It Wasn't Already Enough: Dally's Last Moment
1. After the recent events, Ponyboy and his gang go to a rumble in the vacant lot against the Socs.2. All of the greasers are seriously injured but they do win the fight causing the Socs to flee the area.
The Resolution
1. In this tragic incident, Johnny passes away. After his death, Dally runs out the room and down the hall.2. Johnny's last words are very important to the moral in The Outsiders. "Stay gold Ponyboy, Stay gold," are his last words.
Pony and Johnny Recieve Help from Dally and flee to Windrixville.
1. After the events of Johnny's end, Dally calls the boys to come to the lot after he robbed a gas station. He is on the run from the cops.2. Dally arrives at the lot and without hesitation, he raises his gun and before he could do anything... He is shot and killed immediately.3. Ponyboy then loses conscious and he wakes up a few days later.
Abandoned Church Goes Down In Flames.
1. Ponyboy finally gets the courage to write his theme for his English grade because Johnny's letter had hardened him and really told him what Nothing Gold Can Stay actually meant.2. Ponyboy begins his theme with the first words in the first sentence in Ch. 1. "I had only two things on my mind: Paul Newman and a ride home."
Paul Newman and a ride home...
1. After the incident, Ponyboy and Johnny are forced to get out of town to lay low.2. Dally gives the boys a gun, money, and his jacket.3. Then, the boys sneak on a train and they ask around and they find the church.
Now!
1. After returning from Dairy Queen, the boys come back to see the church on fire.2. In response, Johnny and Ponyboy rush to rescue after realizing they are the ones who caused the fire. 3. The children are then saved.
