In the story, the Grandfather told Mako about the ghost of the lagoon, Tupa. He told him about Tupa kiling three fisherman. The mom over heard and told the grandfather to tell him the truth his dad was one of the fisherman
Yes we will get thirty acres of coconut land!
Guys I killed Tupa!
After hearing the news Mako had to do choirs at an 1 mile away from Bora Bora (setting) to get fresh oranges bannans, but they were going to sneak out and try to kill Tupa
Thank you so much king!
You have been awarded 30 acres of coconut land
We will kill you Tupa!
Later they find Tupa and Mako tryed to kill him with his spear but Afa fell in the water but he threw his spear and hit his eye then got Afa back on the boat then hit him in the other eye then later hit him in the back and killed him
After Mako and Afa killed Tupa they came back to give the news to his parents.
Finally, the king awarded him the 30 acres of coconut land and the all live happly ever after.
The conflict was external man vs. nature because the man is Mako and the nature is Tupa since he was a Shark kiling everything.
