  • Bro do you know why you get energy for working out and then feel tired after
  • Well I'll Show You
  • No bro I didn't pass Biology
  • Then the G3P is made into pyruvic acid
  • The glucose is then turned into two molecules called G3P
  • Next, two molecules of glucose are sent to a system that converts the glucose
  • The glucose then has two molecule for energy called ATP added to it
  • When you eat food it gets turned into a sugar called glucose

  • pyruvic acid
  • The next process for converting the pyruvic acid is called the Krebs cycle
  • Inner membrane
  • did you say the crab cycle

  • The Acetyl COA is then made into citric acid
  • The citric acid then has electrons taken out and put into NAD+ and FAD to make NADH and FADH2 and release two ATP
  • To start the reaction the pyruvic acid is turned into Acetyl COA

  • Total: 4 NADH, 1 FADH2, 2 ATP
  • Acetyl COA
  • Citric Acid

  • well there is one more step that creates more energy called the electron transport chain
  • Wait, man, only four molecules of energy. That seems like a waste.
  • Then a large number of protons get pushed through another protein that binds phosphate to a used ATP called ADP
  • First what happens is the electrons from NADH and FADH2 are put into a chain that powers a protein which puts large amounts of protons in the mitochondria
  • In total there is 38 ATP produced
