A census was issued for the entire Roman world so everyone returned to their hometowns to register. Joseph, of the house of David, took Mary with him to Bethlehem, the town of David. While there, Mary went into labor and since there were no vacant inns, Mary gave birth to Jesus in a stable.
A group of angels appeared to a group of shepherds and announced the birth of Jesus. They immediately spread the news that the Son of God had been born.
Three Magi heard of Jesus' birth and traveled to Judea, where they had heard Jesus was born. They approached King Herod and asked him if Jesus was in Judea. King Herod became worried that this newborn was going to overrule him. He told the Magi to find Jesus and report back to him because he too wanted to worship Jesus.
Where is Jesus? We followed His star and have come to worship Him.
