Water Cycle

Water Cycle

Storyboard Text

  • Heat or solar energy from the sun's rays cause water vapor to heat up and lift into the air .
  • Evaporation
  • Though the sun primarily evaporates large bodies of water, the sun's solar rays also evaporate water found in plants this process know as transpiration.
  • Transpiration
  • Hereafter, both the evaporated and transpired water vapor collect to form clouds, due to the cooler air in the higher atmosphere.
  • Condensation
  • The clouds that have been formed prior, are now unable to hold more water, thus causing water to fall otherwise known as rain.
  • percipitation
  • Aquifer
  • GroundwaterWater from the rain pours onto the ground which then gets absorbed or seeps into the terrain which collects into areas known as aquifers.
  • RunoffPrecipitation such as rain and water streams from aquifers drive towards a body of water which essentially restarts the entirety of the water cycle.
