Storyboard Text

  • Mesopotamian people believed in multiple gods instead of just one, they believed in gods, goddesses, and demons that were created by the gods.
  • The fine art types and structures of Mesopotamia survives mainly in the form of sculpture and architecture. Although it can be displayed as a painting, statue, or instrument. It's important to study art forms from history to learn more about our past.
  • These are our scribes. Their jobs are to write daily events, trade, astronomy, and  literature on little clay tablets. The language the scribes are writing in is called cuneiform. Cuneiform was used by people throughout the ancient Near East that wrote several different languages.
  • One geographic feature that helped the city  is the land and civilization.  For example, all of the townspeople helped maintain and care for the garden, animals, and crops so everyone gets their fair share.  Another feature is trade, which made a big impact on the family and community because of purchases and materials being made in the city.  This helped Mesopotamia because they both are ways that the people collaborated with each other and the environment.
  • ,This shows an example of them trading. Trading helps the community thrive by receiving something for the product they are trading, keeping a steady system.
