Storyboard Text

  • The French and Indian War was a war between France and the Indians, against Great Britain and the colonists. It was a war to decide which nation would control The Ohio River Valley.
  • I want The Ohio River Valley!
  • No, I want The Ohio River Valley!
  • Benjamin Franklin proposed the Albany Plan of Union which was the treaty that wanted the 13 colonies to unite and join militias.
  • Do you want to survive?!
  • We will do what you say.
  • Yes!
  • The Treaty of 1763 is what ended the war in 1763.
  • The treaty gave Britain all North American land controlled by France. Because of that, France lost land and power.
  • Aha! We win!
  • I can't believe this is happening!
  • Britain imposed the Proclamation of 1763 on the colonists which prohibited the colonists from moving west of the Appalachians.
  • I am imposing the Proclamation of 1763!
  • The war cost Britain a lot of money so they imposed taxes on the colonists. The colonists became angry.
  • Haha! We're making you pay taxes!
  • No! That's not fair!
