Density What is it?
Today class, we're going to be learning about density
Density is how compact an object is. You can find the density of an object by dividing the mass of an object by its volume. The density of an object is always measured in g/cm cubed or g/ml
Now lets try to find the density of a small rock Its mass is 24 grams and Its volume is 12 milliliters Using the formula Density=mass/volume find the density of the rock
Oh! I know it. the density is 2 grams/milliliters, because 24 divided by 12 is 2!
Density=mass(24 grams)/volume(12 milliliters)
